Is Physiotherapy for Me?

Physiotherapy is best for those looking to take an active role in recovering from an injury, a surgery, or long-term pain.  There is plenty of research to support using physiotherapy to recover from an injury or long-term pain.

Our physiotherapist, Yagdutt, will perform an in-depth examination and help you to understand what is going on in your body.  Then, using therapeutic exercise and strong educational skills, Yagdutt will help you to achieve your goals related to reducing your pain, and getting you back to doing the things you love.  At the end of several sessions with Yagdutt, you will go home with tools (i.e. new knowledge, exercises) that will allow you to independently manage your condition and/or prevent it from returning.

Yagdutt is also trained in the application of several pain-relief techniques including manual therapy, kinesiotaping, interferential current (and more…), which can be used throughout the course of care.

Assessments are one hour, and subsequent treatment sessions are 30 minutes each.
